Explore two of Zambia’s classic national parks on walking safaris, game drives and boat trips.
South Luangwa • Lower ZambeziThis trip will take you to two of the more popular national parks in Zambia. Begin your trip in the South Luangwa, unquestionably one of the best game viewing areas in Zambia, if not Africa.
Next, head to the Lower Zambezi National Park which lies across Zimbabwe's Mana Pools Reserve with the mighty Zambezi river in between, making this one massive wildlife haven.
You will be treated to a phenomenal game viewing experience over several morning and evening/night drives in both the parks. If you're in the right season, walking safari in South Luangwa and canoe safari in Lower Zambezi are an absolute must.
Upon arrival at the Lusaka airport, you will be received and transfered to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or visiting the ZamSa museum or shopping at the local market.
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll go to the Lusaka Airport to board a ProFlight short shuttle flight to Mfuwe. The flight time is just over an hour. You'll be picked up at the Mfuwe airport and taken to your camp. You'll reach in time for a sumptuous lunch.

This area's reputation for abundant wildlife and unspoiled vegetation is well earned, so whether driving around or walking through, the intense beauty calls to you from every corner. The morning and evening/night game drives will give you ample opportunities to explore the bush and have fantastic sightings.
On the last day at South Luangwa, after your lunch, you will be taken to the Mfuwe airport. There you'll take a light aircraft to fly from Mfuwe to Jeki airstrip. You'll reach in time for tea and the evening game drive at Lower Zambezi.
Flight time - 1hr 30mins • $550 per personThe lodges well placed on the banks of the mighty Zambezi offer a spectacular opportunity for a wide range of activities both on land and water. Glide down the Zambezi by boat, spotting elephants and tiger fishing to your heart’s content. Sit in a canoe and watch the herds of elephants that come to drink, hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks, and a variety of birds that call this place their home. Enjoy the spectacular landscape with ebony and fig trees and further inland is a floodplain fringed with mopane forest and interspersed with winterthorn trees and huge acacias. The evening game drives are particularly rewarding with the park hosting good populations of lion and leopard.
On the last day, after your lunch, you will be taken to the Jeki airstrip. There you'll take a light aircraft to fly from Jeki to Lusaka Airport. It's time to say goodbye as you board your return flight.
